Craft Class

St. John’s supports youth in a variety of ways, from supporting their service and mission efforts financially to contributing to their formation during Sunday activities.

St. John’s youth have built 14 Habitat Houses and have served in Puerto Rico, New York City, Ottawa, Washington D.C., and Miami.

Book Study Groups

SJBC Youth participate in local service throughout the year! We also have an in-town immersion that focuses on serving our local community.

Hope Chapel Outreach, Adopt-A-Stream, Charlotte Rescue Mission, CROP Walk, QC Family Tree, Baby Bundles, Charlotte Family Housing, Friendship Trays, Crisis Assistance, Loaves and Fishes

Care Committee

We encourage SJBC Youth to build intergenerational relationships. This includes inviting youth to serve with younger children as well as participating in church-wide fellowship events.

Adults of all ages serve as Sunday School teachers, service project leaders, Youth Resource Team, and SNL lead

Cradle Roll

Growth Hour Sunday Morning 9:15am-10:15am – Stories and Teachings from Scripture.

Sunday Night Live Sunday Nights 5:00pm-7:30pm- Recreation, Communal Dinner, Faith Formation for Real Life

Discipleship Classes (Basics of Christian beliefs) – Youth entering 6th grade and youth entering 12th grade.
